Description:
The Austra White is a tremendous layer, a cross between a White Leghorn and a Black Australorp. Adults are white with flecks of black, as if the ink has been dripped onto their feathers.
The hens are calmer than leghorns have a reputation for. Austra whites are excellent layers of large, cream-colored eggs with a docile, even temperament.
